The frame (outer edges of a sign) is the primary factor for a sizing. “Outer edges” refers to the full boundary or perimeter of your sign.
In other words, it’s the total width and height measured from the very leftmost point to the rightmost point and from the topmost point to the bottommost point of the finished sign.
By always measuring from the outermost tips of a sign, you’ll get a clear and consistent measurement for quoting, production, and installation.
How sizing works in framefit
As a merchant you can decide to let your customers select the following sizes setups
Preset sizes
Custom sizing
You can choose to include both options at the same time or one for your customiser setup.
How to add a preset size
An individual size allows the customer to select a specific size for their sign e.g. 50cm wide by 80cm high.
Navigate to the admin of Sign Customiser on your store.
Click on "Customisers" in the home page
Click on a Framefit customiser in the list
Click on "Sizes" in the left hand side column
Click on "Add Size"
How to enable custom sizing in framefit
Navigate to the admin of Sign Customiser on your store.
Click on "Customisers" in the home page
Click on a Framefit customiser in the list
Click on "Sizes" in the left hand side column
Scroll down untill you "Custom Sizing" card
Ensure "Enable Custom Sizing" is selected
How to control minimum, maximum and default values for custom sizing
Navigate to the admin of Sign Customiser on your store.
Click on "Customisers" in the home page
Click on a Framefit customiser in the list
Click on "Sizes" in the left hand side column
First ensure that "Enable Custom Sizing" has been selected in the "Custom Size" card
Scroll down untill you see "Custom Size Settings" card
You can set the initial, minimum and maximum inputs for both the width and height in this section.
Make sure to hit save at the bottom of the form.
