Quote Mode

By default, Sign Customiser is set to "Sales Mode," which allows you to create a product and add it to your store's customer cart so that they can purchase it from your store.

However, in quote mode, you now have the ability to receive quotes of sign designs created by the user, which are then sent to your designated email inbox.

The quote email will contain several mockup images of the sign based on the user-selected options that you have provided, e.g. colors, sizes, backboards, etc for your customiser.

Forms used for quote mode are not the same as custom design forms as quote mode forms use the design of the sign created by our app (same image as presented in the visualizer) as the reference image attached to the email.

How to enable quote mode

Before enabling quote mode on your customiser, you must have already created a form on your customiser with the setting "Quote mode." selected.

  1. Navigate to the admin of Sign Customiser for your store.
  2. Click on the "Customisers" menu item in the home screen.
  3. Click on customiser you wish to edit.
  4. Click on Quote Mode in the left-hand side navigation menu.
  5. On the quote mode admin you select "Enable quote mode" to enable this feature on your customiser.

  6. You'll need to select a form that will be used to accept quotes in quote mode.

  7. In this admin is also where you can change the label of the button that is used to switch from the design screen to the form input screen (what users see).
  8. Hit save at the bottom of the form.
