How to Use Sign Customiser with Zapier

Zapier allows you to connect Sign Customiser with thousands of other apps to automate your workflows. This guide will walk you through setting up your first Zap with Sign Customiser.

Before You Begin

To connect Sign Customiser to Zapier, you'll need an API key from your Sign Customiser account.

Step 1: Generate an API Key

First, you'll need to create an API token in your Sign Customiser account:

  1. Log in to your Sign Customiser account

  2. Navigate to your API settings

  3. Generate a new API token

For detailed instructions on creating an API token, see our guide: How to Create an API Token

Important: Copy your API key immediately after generating it and store it somewhere safe. You won't be able to see it again after you leave the page.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

  1. Log in to your Zapier account at zapier.com

  2. Click the Create Zap button (usually found in the top left corner or dashboard)

  3. You'll be taken to the Zap editor to begin building your automation

Step 3: Search for Sign Customiser

In the Zap editor:

  1. In the trigger section, click on the app search field

  2. Type "Sign Customiser" into the search box

  3. Select Sign Customiser from the search results

Step 4: Connect Your Account

When prompted to connect your Sign Customiser account:

  1. Click Sign in or Connect a new account

  2. A window will appear asking for your API credentials

  3. Paste the API key you generated in Step 1

  4. Click Yes, Continue to establish the connection

Zapier will test the connection to make sure your API key is working correctly.

Step 5: Select a Trigger

Sign Customiser offers three trigger options in Zapier. Choose the one that best fits your automation needs:

New Product

This trigger fires whenever a new product is created in your Sign Customiser account. Use this to automatically sync new products to other platforms, notify your team, or update inventory systems.

New Order

This trigger fires whenever a new order is placed. Use this to send order notifications, create invoices, update spreadsheets, or trigger fulfillment workflows.

Form Submitted

This trigger fires whenever a form is submitted through Sign Customiser. Use this to process customer inquiries, add contacts to your CRM, or send follow-up emails.

After selecting your trigger, follow the prompts to configure the specific settings and complete your Zap by choosing an action in another app.
